RFP for Maine's Homeless Response System Gaps & Needs Analysis
MaineHousing is requesting a proposal from an experienced, qualified, and professional company who can carry out a gaps and needs analysis of homelessness resources and services in the state and provide recommendations on addressing identified gaps. Deadline for submission is March 7, 2025 @ 5pm.
2024 RFQ to establish a Housing First Program
Funds have been provided to establish a Housing First Program. MaineHousing is requesting qualifications to select Developer/ Owner/Manager/Service Provider Teams to develop and operate site-based housing with 24-hour on-site staffing support for people experiencing chronic homelessness (“Housing First”). Deadline for submission extended to 3/6/2025 @5pm.

2023 State of Maine Housing Study
The passage of LD 2003 required the state to set specific housing production goals. Over the past year, the State of Maine DECD, the Governor's Office of Policy Innovation and the Future, and MaineHousing engaged an outside consultant to conduct a comprehensive housing needs analysis to assess the availability and affordability of housing in the state.
