The Student Homelessness Prevention Pilot
The Student Homelessness Prevention Pilot was established by 2024 Public Law and was funded with $2 million to allow MaineHousing to create a program that provides housing subsidies directly to families of homeless students. This NOFA seeks applicants to administer the Program in their School Administrative Unit (SAU) or as a collaborative effort of multiple SAUs. Deadline for submission is October 31, 2024 @ 5pm.
2024 RFP for Compensation Study
MaineHousing is requesting proposals from experienced, qualified, and professional companies to conduct a compensation study and make recommendations to update our current compensation system in accordance with the study results. Deadline for submission is October 21, 2024 @ 5pm.
2024 Maine Continuum of Care Builds RFP
The Maine Continuum of Care (MCoC) invites interested parties to address and reduce the number of persons experiencing homelessness by creating new units of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) through new construction or acquisition and rehabilitation of existing structures with one-time CoC Builds awards. Deadline for submission is October 17, 2024 @ 5pm.

2023 State of Maine Housing Study
The passage of LD 2003 required the state to set specific housing production goals. Over the past year, the State of Maine DECD, the Governor's Office of Policy Innovation and the Future, and MaineHousing engaged an outside consultant to conduct a comprehensive housing needs analysis to assess the availability and affordability of housing in the state.
