MaineHousing is pleased to announce it has awarded more than $2 million to seven Maine school districts through the Student Homelessness Prevention Program, supporting local efforts expected to serve nearly 1,300 students and their families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

MaineHousing is requesting proposals from experienced, qualified, and professional companies who can provide fair hearing services for MaineHousing’s rental assistance programs under Section 8 of the United States Housing Act of 1937, its Stability Through Engagement Program (STEP), and its Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). Deadline for submission is September 30, 2026.
