State HOME Fund Forums
MaineHousing is holding two discussion forums to receive comments on the use of State HOME funds:
- December 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the University Events Room, Glickman Library, University of Southern Maine, Portland, Maine
- December 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Laurence E. Crofutt Community Room, Bangor Public Library, Bangor, Maine.
The State HOME Fund: The Housing Opportunities for Maine (HOME) Fund is a source of funding for first time homebuyers and home repair services, for the development of affordable and supportive housing for people with low incomes and special needs in Maine, and for homeless shelters The HOME Fund is funded with dedicated revenue collected through the Real Estate Transfer Tax.
Meeting rooms are accessible to persons with physical disabilities. Upon sufficient notice, appropriate communication auxiliary aids and services will be provided.
