HOME-ARP A LLOCATION PLAN
FOR HOME-AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN PROGRAM
The Maine State Housing Authority will conduct a public hearing on the Draft Allocation Plan for the HOME-American Rescue Plan Program (HOME-ARP) on January 19, 2022.
HOME-ARP is a federal program that will assist individuals or households who are: experiencing homelessness; at risk of homelessness; fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence; were formerly homeless; or are part of other vulnerable populations, by providing housing, rental assistance, supportive services, and non-congregate shelter, to reduce homelessness and increase housing stability across the country.
These grant funds will be administered through HUD’s HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME). The State of Maine will be receiving $15.6 million dollars of HOME ARP funds.
The State of Maine HOME-ARP Allocation Plan is available on the MaineHousing website www.mainehousing.org/policy-research/federal-funds .
