NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT AND DRAFT AVAILABLITY
SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO 2020 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
FOR CDBG-CV
The Maine State Housing Authority and the Department of Economic and Community Development have drafted the Substantial Amendment to the 2020 Annual Action Plan and encourage citizens to comment.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the State of Maine to submit a Substantial Amendment to its 2020 Annual Action Plan in order to access the $ 7,022,416 in additional Community Development Block Grant funding allocated to The State of Maine under the Cares Act to address the impact of COVID 19 on low to moderate income people. The draft Substantial Amendment outlines the planned use of HUD CDBG-CV funds.

MaineHousing and DECD will hold a virtual public hearing via ZOOM to gather comments on the draft Substantial Amendment on June 9th at 10 am.
Upon sufficient notice, appropriate communication auxiliary aids and services will be provided. The deadline for written comment is 5pm June 9th .
