Public Hearing - Proposed Waiver of Weatherization Cap

A public hearing on the proposed waiver to increase the amount of FFY 2015 HEAP funds which may be used for low-cost residential weatherization and other energy-related home repair, including the Central Heating Improvement Program, from 15% to 25% is scheduled for Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 9:15 a.m.

MaineHousing will conduct the public hearing in the board room of its offices located at 353 Water Street, Augusta, Maine. The meeting is open to the public.

A further description of the proposed waiver is available on MaineHousing’s website www.mainehousing.org. Oral comments may be presented at the meeting. Written comments may be submitted via email to [email protected] or by mail to Michael Baran, Director of Energy & Housing Services, 353 Water Street, Augusta, Maine, 04330-4633 no later than 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2015.

The hearing room is accessible to persons with disabilities and, upon sufficient notice, appropriate communication auxiliary aids and services will be provided to persons with disabilities and persons with limited English proficiency.
