Public Hearing - Proposed Issuance of Tax-Exempt Bonds for Multi-family Housing


BOND SIZE: The Maine State Housing Authority (“MaineHousing") intends to issue up to $75,000,000 of tax-exempt bonds (the “Bonds”), in one or more series or in conjunction with other series, including a common plan of finance as contemplated by
Section 147(f) (2)(c) of the Internal Revenue Code, the proceeds of which will be used to: (1) redeem and refund certain taxexempt facility bonds of MaineHousing, the proceeds of which were used to finance qualified residential rental projects described below; (2) finance qualified residential rental projects described below; and (3) finance the costs of issuance, reserve funds and other valid purposes of MaineHousing.
