A public hearing on the proposed State Plan for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for Federal Fiscal Year 2027 will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at Maine State Housing Authority, 26 Edison Drive, Augusta, Maine. The meeting is open to the public. The meeting room is accessible to persons with physical disabilities and, upon sufficient notice, appropriate communication auxiliary aids and services will be provided for persons with disabilities. Upon sufficient notice, written materials provided in connection with the meeting will also be made available in alternative formats, such as large print or audio cassette.

A copy of the proposed State Plan is available on MaineHousing’s website www.mainehousing.org. Oral comments may be presented at the hearing. Written comments must be submitted by Friday, May 29, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
