Public Hearing - BIL State Plan

NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY BIPARTISAN INFRASTRUCTURE LAW
STATE PLAN

 

            The Maine State Housing Authority (“MaineHousing”) has prepared a draft of the 5 Year Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (“BIL”) State Plan (“BIL State Plan”) as required by the U.S. Department of Energy (“DOE”) for MaineHousing to administer the Weatherization Assistance Program with the DOE BIL Grant Funds.

            The draft BIL State Plan was developed in consultation with MaineHousing’s community action agencies, weatherization contractors, and state policy makers and provides information on MaineHousing’s five-year plan to implement workforce development and training and provide weatherization assistance to low income persons.

MaineHousing shall hold a public hearing on September 22, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at the Maine State Housing Authority at 26 Edison Dr., Augusta, Maine.  Meeting rooms are accessible to persons with physical disabilities.  Upon sufficient notice, appropriate communication auxiliary aids and services will be provided.  The draft BIL State Plan is available for inspection at MaineHousing’s offices in Augusta and on MaineHousing’s webpage:  www.mainehousing.org.  Written comments will be accepted upon publication of this Notice until close of business on September 22, 2022.  If you would like to request a disability-related accommodation, testify at the public hearing or make a comment, please direct your communication to:
