NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

FOR THE:

1. ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR THE CONSOLIDATED HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN

2.  HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (HOME) MATCH REPORT

PROGRAM YEAR 2014

 

 

            The Maine State Housing Authority (MaineHousing) and the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) have prepared drafts of the Annual Performance Report for the Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan (Consolidated Plan) and the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) Match Report for program year 2014 (ending December 31, 2014).  The reports are designed to meet the reporting requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and describe activities and accomplishments during the program year.

The Consolidated Plan was developed by MaineHousing and DECD in 2009 to address low and moderate income housing needs in Maine, and community development needs in the non-urbanized areas of Maine through 2014. The Consolidated Plan describes housing and community development programs and initiatives including need, anticipated funding levels, and target populations.  It applies to the federal HOME Program, the Emergency Solutions Grant Program (ESG), and the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG).

The Annual Performance Report describes progress on implementation of the Consolidated Plan and summarizes program delivery, populations served and the amount of matching funds, where applicable. 

MaineHousing and DECD will receive public comments in writing and hold a public hearing to receive comments on the Annual Reports March 26 at 2 pm at the Maine State Housing Authority (353 Water Street, Augusta).  If you would like a copy of the reports, would like to request a reasonable accommodation, or make a comment, please direct your communication to:
