Notice of Public Hearing - 2016 DOE State Plan & Weatherization Assistance Program Rule Changes

A public hearing on the proposed U.S. Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program State Plan for Fiscal Year 2016 is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16, 2016 immediately following the public hearing for the Weatherization Program Rule changes that is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. 

The purpose of the public hearing is to receive comments pertaining to MaineHousing’s proposed Fiscal Year 2016 State Plan for the U.S. Department of Energy Weatherization Assistance Program.  

MaineHousing will conduct the public hearing in the 4^th floor Board Room of its offices located at 353 Water Street, Augusta, Maine.  The meeting is open to the public. 

A copy of the proposed State Plan is available on our website at www.mainehousing.org or by calling 207-626-4600 or 1-800-452-4668 (Voice) or Maine Relay 711 or by writing to MaineHousing, Energy & Housing Services, 353 Water Street, Augusta, Maine 04330-4633. 

Oral comments may be presented at the hearing.  Written comments must be submitted no later than 5:00 pm, Friday, February 26, 2016 to Daniel Brennan, Director of Energy & Housing Services, at the above address or [email protected].

The meeting room is accessible to persons with physical disabilities and, upon sufficient notice, appropriate communication auxiliary aids and services will be provided for persons with disabilities.  Upon sufficient notice, written materials provided in connection with the hearing will also be made available in alternative formats.
