HEAP Proposed Waiver Public Hearing

A public hearing on the proposed waiver to increase the amount of FFY 2017 HEAP funds which may be used for low-cost residential weatherization and other energy-related home repair, including the Central Heating Improvement Program, from 15% to 25% is scheduled for Tuesday, June 20, 2017, immediately following the consecutive public hearings for the HEAP Program Rule changes and the proposed FFY 2018 State Plan for HEAP that are scheduled to start at 9:30 AM.

MaineHousing will conduct the public hearing in the board room of its offices located at 353 Water Street, Augusta, Maine. The meeting is open to the public.

A further description of the proposed waiver is available on MaineHousing’s website www.mainehousing.org. Oral comments may be presented at the meeting. Written comments may be submitted via email to [email protected] or by mail to the attention of Kathy Kinch, Manager of LIHEAP and Financial Reporting, MaineHousing, 353 Water Street, Augusta, Maine, 04330-4633 no later than 11:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2017.
